AERO 2024 (April 17 - 20, 2024), the 30th edition of the leading global trade fair for general aviation, will be a special trade fair with many activities and highlights in all areas of the industry. The original plan was to present the AERO Media Awards for outstanding journalistic work on general aviation for the first time this year in collaboration with Peter Bradfield from the Bradfield & Associates agency.
Tobias Bretzel, AERO Show Director at AERO organizer fairnamic GmbH, says: "It was with a heavy heart that we decided to postpone the premiere of the AERO Media Awards. During the preparations, we realised that the desired quality could not be guaranteed and therefore did not meet Peter Bradfield's and our expectations of a high-quality event."
"We regret the postponement of the premiere of the AERO Media Awards in Friedrichshafen. But it is the right decision," says Peter Bradfield. However, the postponement does not affect the other Aerospace Media Awards in London, Washington, Singapore and Paris, which are organized by Bradfield & Associates.
The anniversary AERO promises to be another high-level media event. For journalists, fairnamic GmbH is organizing an AERO Media Day on 16 April, the day before the trade fair opens, where media professionals will have the opportunity to see trade fair highlights in advance and discuss the latest developments in aviation with high-ranking industry representatives.
