- From 1991 to 1998, studied Meteorology with minors in Physical Geography & Astrophysics at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main. Thesis: "Measurements of CO and H2 Mixing Ratios in Winter 1996/97: An Investigation into the Temporal Variability of Atmospheric Chemical Conditions at the Taunus Observatory."
- From 1997 to 2008, Scientific Staff Member at the Institute for Atmosphere and Environment, Goethe University Frankfurt/Main. Dissertation: "Trace Gas Measurements in the Tropopause Region to Characterize Stratosphere-Troposphere Exchange Processes."
- From 2009 to 2016, Subject Matter Expert in the Department of Flight Meteorology at the German Weather Service (DWD).
- Since 2016, Customer Service Representative for the Flight Weather Service at the DWD.
