About me
Helmut Kühnelt joined AIT in 2007, where he is currently a senior researcher at the Center for Transport Technologies and thematic coordinator for battery energy storage in aviation. He has received his PhD from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna on the aeroacoustic simulation of the sound generation of flute instruments and has extensive experience in CFD and system simulation. He is coordinator of the EU-funded research project MATISSE on structural batteries.
