David Smith

David Smith is the President and CEO of Robinson Helicopter Company, the world's leading manufacturer of civil helicopters. An engineer and industry veteran, he is the third person to lead the privately held company in its over 50-year history. Robinson Helicopter employs over 1,200 employees at its one and only California facility and has a global network of over 100 dealers. Smith joined Robinson Helicopter as Vice President of Operations after a long career at Bell, where he held senior executive positions in engineering, program management, and product development. His expertise has been pivotal in leading Robinson Helicopter into a future of sustainable growth, technological advancement, and commitment to safety.
