Sebastian Neudorfer is the founder and General Manager of Quest Aeronautics GmbH, an innovative company dedicated to elevating the standards of aircraft ownership and operation for general aviation enthusiasts. With over a decade of experience in the chemical industry and substantial expertise in aviation, Sebastian brings a unique blend of technical acumen and passion for aviation to his role. Sebastian transitioned into aviation after a successful career in chemical engineering, seeking to fulfil his lifelong passion for flying. He completed his Bachelor and Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on aviation and further enriched his expertise at the National Test Pilot School (NTPS), specializing in handling qualities and performance of fixed-wing aircraft flight testing. This training led to a position as a flight test engineer. He holds a commercial pilot license under EASA, with extensive experience in both multi-engine and single-engine aircraft operations across various conditions and terrains. An active member of esteemed organizations such as the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and the Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE), Sebastian is committed to fostering advancements in the aviation community. Sebastian has dedicated himself to educating and supporting aircraft owners through the establishment of the Pilot-Owner Academy. This initiative offers comprehensive training and resources, focusing on empowering pilots to own and operate their aircraft with confidence and safety. His commitment to aviation safety and education is also evident in his active participation in various aviation forums and his role as a public speaker at events like AERO Friedrichshafen. Sebastian's vision for Quest Aeronautics is to make aviation accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that every pilot-owner is equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed.
